AFRIBS
Our organization provides help and support for people with mental health conditions or who have experienced trauma caused by bullying. We advocate for improved mental health services, prevention, and care. We empower people by educating them about their conditions and about the choices available for them. Through our programming, we assist learning institutions with
anti-bullying intervention tools and rehabilitation.
Who are we
We're a registered Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO) working to
achieve mental health awareness, provision of mental health at work policies, and training and mental health programming for youths, women, and children in Zimbabwe.
We help mentally ill patients fight for the rights that they are denied. Simple things, like the right to a Job, dignity, and respect. The right to stay on their land, health, and education, on the whole, we promote their right to have a say in the decisions that shape their lives. We also work to help train, educate and equip people with a new mental health diagnosis to be able to continue living life like everyone else.
